Well played, sir. You're right. And on that note; we don't want anymore crazy trade proposals from you. Duchene, Landy, AND Barrie to Ottawa. 😱

I want Duchene, Land and Barrie for $5, a half pack a smokes and all the seats they took out of the CTC.
Seems like a fair trade to me lol |

Tyson Barrie is an offensive machine + leader. Would make Ottawa have 2 lethal powerplays.
Landeskog is a captain, sweedish (hello karlsson contract extension) and gritty AF. Add Duchene who with Hoffman + Stone would be a 30g guy again, I have no problem trading Brown, Chabot, AND Ceci in that case. The Sens also get the cap flexibility with Ryan's contract out the door. That said, it's all fantasy |

no way MTL is scoring 3 goals, they can't even do it with a full lineup |

Bro, you're missing the point. We'd all LOVE to have all or any of Duchene, Landeskog, Barrie. But that's not realistic. Especially since you had offered Ryan, Ceci, Chabot... and a 1st or something like that? And you may have tossed White in there, too.
Colorado has ZERO interest in a Bobby Ryan. And I'm not sure Ceci is a sexy trade chip either. He had a horrible playoffs, and I personally think he's both overrated and expendable. A first round pick? Meh. Chabot is the only worthy piece in that package. You're not gonna get THREE quality players from Colorado without giving up THREE pieces that you don't want to have to give up.
I'm not trying to be a *$#@, just trying to keep things realistic, man.
Enjoy your weekend. GO SENS GO!

That deke was slick.
Brown might warrant a couple games as well. |

Agreed, he's looked solid as well. Good size and he goes hard to the net. |

Brown is looking very good, he'll be a main stay if he keeps this up.
So is Chabot. I think working a deal for Duchene involving Ceci is okay with me because of how well Chabot is coming along. I think he is ready for the NHL now.
My big take away is actually Chlapik, that guy is doing better then I ever thought he would. When is first saw him play in Charlottetown, he was sloppy, slow and got caught out of position a ton. He's fixed all those issues and is showing he could be a solid NHL player soon. |

Lol. I hear what your saying. Ofcourse getting Duchene, Landeskog, and Barrie isn't going to happen - that's what people do on a gaming system.
What I WAS saying....was that trade could/would make sense for both teams. Sens are on the borderline (IMO) and in the opinion of many, as a playoff team but NOT in the conversation as a contender. Why not? Bottom 6 forwards are good, defense is certainly above average with the MVP of D-men back there, so what's missing? Well, a true #1 center. The Sens have two solid #2 guys (even 3 with Pageau) but not a star player like many teams have. But they have everything else.
Bottom line was - making that kind of deal - you get Ryan's salary shipped out but blue chips going back to a rebuilding Avs team. Sens get two solid forwards that are at good cap hits and hungry to win AND a top 3Dman, oozes offence |
